Here are some of the fixes you can apply to Outlook to resolve the error with ease.
Compatibility Issue — If you’re making Outlook default email software on your computer, then you have to make sure that the app is compatible with the version of your OS. To check that, you have to open the installation folder of Outlook and then right-click on the ‘Outlook.exe’ file and open the properties. Then, you have to navigate to the Compatibility tab and then uncheck the ‘Run this program in compatibility mode’ option.
Open in Safe Mode — You can also try to open Outlook in Safe Mode and disable all the add-ins in Outlook. To open the Outlook in Safe Mode, You need to open the RUN window and then type in ‘Outlook /safe’, and then hit Enter. It will open the Outlook in safe mode and not add-in will work in this mode. If everything is fine here, then you need to delete the add-ins installed.
